What to look out for in iPhone 8

Apple keeps making approaches to iPhone 8. As people tends to be guesting how it will look like and what will be it features.

Although it’s barely a month that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were officially announced, rumors and leaks of the next iPhone have been making the rounds on the internet lately. Another patent was awarded to Apple by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office yesterday.

It was awarded the U.S. Patent No. 9,460,332 and a title, “Capacitive fingerprint sensor including an electrostatic lens.” This simply means that there will be a button with fingerprint scanning capabilities under the screen.

Apple has big plans for the next iPhone as its 10th anniversary holds next year.
The tech giant will likely replace the physical home button with a virtual button which will be able to perform the functions of the Touch ID module. Once this happens, fingerprint will be easily recognised on the entire screen

Going by recent rumors, three variants of the iPhone 8 should be expected. There are suggestions of curved edges and an OLED screen supplied by its rival, Samsung. The phone will come with an all-glass design. This idea is not new, the iPhone 4 and 4s had glass front and rear panels.

A concept from Herman Haidin reveals an iPhone designed from liquidmetal which is more water-resistant than the aluminium used for the iPhone 7. An iris scanner for unlocking the smartphone may be present, and it will also feature wireless charging.
